  2. Select URL Prefix method

  3. Enter the deploy URL

  4. Click Continue

  2. Download the presented html file

  1. Save the file into the public folder

  2. Update to Github repository

  • push files stored in public folder in Github repository
  • Redeploying will proceed automatically by vercel

Verify ownership with saved HTML file

When you return to the Google Search Console and proceed, you will receive a confirmation message

Then click properties

Register Sitemap

  1. Click Sitemaps in the left area

  1. Enter sitemap.xml in the Add New Site Map input box

Why do you type sitemap.xml?

Because it creates static sitemap.xml file in the public folder
